Staff Technologist – Medical Lab Specialist

About the Role:

As a Staff Technologist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting assessment activities for medical laboratory accreditation as part of our ISO 15189Plus Program.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and participate in accreditation assessments and analyze accreditation evidence following assessments.
  • Review and analyze submitted self-assessments and corrective actions.
  • Review and revise accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor the quality of accreditation processes and procedures, and initiate process improvements.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and meetings with advisors/consultants, stakeholders, and client personnel.
  • Minimum 30% travel required within Canada.
  • Support market development and generate new business opportunities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Designation as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience and knowledge in Laboratory Medicine.
  • Good standing with relevant professional college (e.g., CMLTO).
  • Have a minimum of bachelor's degree and/or health care diploma in a healthcare-related field.
  • Be technically savvy with excellent computer skills.
  • Current Driver's license.

  • Be fluent in French and English (verbal and written).
