Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Aircrew Officer to join our Bell 412 operations in New South Wales, Australia. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment conducting aerial firefighting and flood response, crew/equipment transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, disaster mitigation, and related operations in support of emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct aerial firefighting and flood response operations
  • Transport crew and equipment
  • Conduct reconnaissance and search and rescue operations
  • Participate in disaster mitigation and related operations

Requirements

  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Vehicle Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Class 2 Medical
  • Excellent crew resource management and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate III in Rescue Crew Officer or Certificate IV Aviation (Aircrewman)
  • SAR/Rescue/Fire personnel winching operational qualifications and experience
  • External Load (Sling load) Rigging techniques operational experience
  • Knowledge and experience in aerial firefighting operations
  • HUET Certificate of Competency
  • Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate of Competency
  • NVIS Aircrew member
  • Aircrew Member Instructor/Training qualifications
