Event Manager

The Winnipeg Football Club is seeking a highly skilled Event Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various events, including game-day experiences, corporate functions, and weddings. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every event meets or exceeds our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and logistics to create memorable experiences for our guests and fans.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and ticketing, to promote events and ensure seamless execution.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure costs are within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of event services and products.
- Lead and manage event staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a venue management role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential problems and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Sound financial management skills, with the ability to create and manage event budgets.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and creating a positive work environment.
