Your Opportunity
Our Edmonton office is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate, Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our Advisory team and take on the following responsibilities:
- Support business development initiatives, including pitches and proposals;
- Prepare comprehensive financial models, including LBO models and preliminary company valuations;
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses on companies, focusing on earnings and cash flow sustainability, operating working capital requirements, and key drivers of financial performance;
- Identify potential acquisition targets, buyers, and investors, and perform market, industry, and company research;
- Communicate directly with transaction counterparties, including clients, targets, buyers, other advisors, and lenders;
- Assist in preparing professional transaction documents, such as teasers and confidential information memorandums.

Your Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a CPA, CFA, or CBV designation;
- 3-4 years of experience in audit, valuation, corporate finance, or M&A advisory;
- Motivation, attention to detail, autonomy, and the ability to work under pressure;
- Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail;
- Willingsness to work outside normal business hours and travel internationally as required.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $101,000 per year.
