We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee our welding operations at Portable Welders Limited. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Utilize CADD and other software systems
  • Prepare and submit bids
  • Coordinate and schedule project activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Order necessary materials and supplies
  • Supervise welding personnel and projects
  • Operate CNC machines and welding equipment
  • Interpret welding blueprints and specifications
  • Use oxygen arc cutting equipment
  • Fabricate or repair metal components
  • Manage hoisting and lifting operations
Certifications Required
  • CADD Course
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Welder Trade Certification
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • Pressure Welding Certification
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training
Materials and Techniques
  • Experience with stainless steel and heavy metals
  • Proficient in various welding techniques including FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW
Equipment Proficiency

Transportation Requirements
