Job Summary

V9 Consulting Services Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  2. Provide expert problem-solving services to network users, resolving technical issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  3. Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Perform routine network startup and shutdown, and maintain accurate control records to ensure seamless operations.
  5. Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  6. Design and implement local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
  7. Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to identify potential threats and optimize server performance.
  8. Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure secure and efficient online operations.
  9. Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in network security administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of device drivers, networking hardware, and networking security protocols.
  4. Experience with extranet, intranet, and Internet technologies.
  5. Proficiency in programming languages, MS Office, and MS Windows.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
