Position Overview

HFX FOODHUB INC. is seeking dedicated individuals to join our culinary team as Culinary Support Staff. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Education Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

The position is based in a dynamic restaurant setting, including fast food outlets and concessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and seating areas.
  • Portion and package food items for service.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning supplies.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness.
  • Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
Experience

No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
