Your Role:

As an Optical Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, making your role crucial to our success. Your passion for customer service and ability to provide an outstanding experience will help us maintain our positive impact on the health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients on optimal eyewear choices tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best value and quality.
  • Inform patients about advancements in corrective eyewear and assist in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and functional needs.
  • Interpret optical prescriptions provided by optometrists.
  • Conduct frame and facial measurements to guarantee proper fit and positioning of eyewear, along with performing repairs and adjustments.
  • Manage contact lens orders and assist with fittings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in person and through various channels.
  • Handle billing processes for patients and their medical service providers.
  • Oversee appointment scheduling, prescription printouts, and payment transactions.
  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, is desirable.
  • Previous optical experience is an asset.
  • A strong passion for customer service.
  • Proficiency in using technology and computers.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
