This course explores the nature of photography as an image-making process, emphasizing its multiple roles in contemporary art and culture. Students will acquire basic camera proficiency through the production of photographs and develop visual skills to address their own work and photographic issues of our time.

Requirements
Applicants must have a Master of Fine Arts or equivalent, an established reputation and exhibition record in photography and contemporary art, and teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
