About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Cleaner to join our team at Parkland Motels I & II. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Support Services: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Training and Support: Will train, supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
