Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Distribution Specialist to join our team at Lordco Auto Parts. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, receiving and storing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders, as well as receive and put away inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies or damage to management.
- Prepare and pack special orders for our stores and customers, adhering to company procedures and standards.
- Operate various equipment, including electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyor systems, and walkie talkies, while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Use an online stock control system to perform specific tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to company safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous work experience in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
- WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to work full-time.
