Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Duke Food Service Inc. is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
  • Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that all food and service offerings adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
  • This is a permanent position.
