Job Summary

Élecproménager inc. is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential appliances in clients' homes and in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair Services: Perform thorough diagnostics and repairs on a variety of residential appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Work Order Management: Accurately fill out work orders via mobile software and collect payments from clients.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to confirm appointments and provide repair estimates.
  • Parts Procurement: Locate and acquire necessary parts for repairs using exploded views and other resources.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of repairs and client interactions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the residential appliance repair field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 5 license and proficiency in French and English.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in work order management software.
  • Education: DEP in Electromechanics or Appliance Repair (an asset).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Refrigeration Experience: Experience with R134A and/or R600A refrigerants.
  • Natural Gas/Propane TAG-2 License: Possession of a Natural Gas/Propane TAG-2 license.
