The Retail Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities at our Esso Gas Station, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while providing excellent customer service.
Education Requirements- Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
- Non-smoking facility.
- Fast-paced retail service establishment.
- Supervise and lead a team of 3-4 staff members, including apprentices and sales associates.
- Delegate tasks and assign duties to sales personnel.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Authorize payment transactions and manage cash flow.
- Order and manage inventory of merchandise.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Create and maintain work schedules for staff.
- Engage in direct sales and assist customers with their purchases.
- Compile reports regarding sales performance, inventory, and staffing issues.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages effectively.
- Organize and oversee inventory management processes.
- Coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Must possess manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capable of performing a combination of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.
- Exhibits strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Shows flexibility and organizational skills.
- Reliable team player with a strong sense of initiative and judgment.

- Previous experience in a retail or supervisory role is considered an asset.
- Permanent position with a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language is English.
