Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at WPH Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by implementing effective quality control measures.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
