At Paul Davis, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maximizing profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive a team towards a common goal while making a positive impact on the community. You will thrive in a high-pressure environment and enjoy taking calculated risks to achieve success.

As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business, including recruiting and coaching team members, developing a business plan to achieve profitability goals, and monitoring financials/operations of the office.

You will be expected to communicate and collaborate with corporate personnel, develop a business plan to achieve profitability goals, and maintain expense budgets. Additionally, you will review job reports, WIP (work in progress), and customer relations with the team for backlog/contracts signed but jobs not started/flow of WIP/quality control/customer complaints.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or multiple years' experience in Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field. Five plus years' experience in a management role is required, with experience in reading and interpreting financial statements.
