Job Title: Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Q Victoria Pizza INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Preparation Specialist will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a clean and appetizing manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Portion and wrap food items, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for cooking.
  • Slice cooked meats, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food preparation or cooking role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Ability to multitask, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
