Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at The North West Company LP.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and enter client data into our databases.
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including maintaining inventory and preparing medications for clients.
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, as well as bill third-party insurers.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and prescription products, and restock shelves and display areas as needed.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
