Your Role as a Business Analytics Specialist

In the capacity of Business Analytics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in connecting business objectives with technological solutions within the organization. This position is pivotal in aligning technological advancements with business goals, fostering communication, and ensuring that analytical insights fulfill the organization's requirements. The Specialist is dedicated to customer success and will be innovative in translating business needs into actionable insights. This role requires a strong relationship with operations and the Business Intelligence Technology & Security (BITS) organization. Your focus will be on delivering analytics, fostering innovation, resolving issues, and enhancing the customer experience to secure a competitive edge in the industry.

Work Environment

This is a full-time permanent position within an office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Business and BITS Alignment Develop a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and align analytics strategies to support these goals. Identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges that can be addressed through data-driven insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their goals and challenges, creating and aligning analytics roadmaps. Participate in operational meetings to gather and manage technology-related actions. Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions, prioritizing BITS activities to ensure value creation aligns with resource availability.
  • Application Management Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure business continuity and enhancements. Work with BITS teams to ensure foundational tools and capabilities support long-term business objectives.
  • Change Management Partner with business units to manage the transition associated with adopting new analytics strategies and tools.
  • Project Management Support Collaborate with the PMO on projects impacting the customer base. Understand business requirements to ensure solutions are effective and scalable. Develop and execute the operational handoff of new solutions.
  • Business Applications Recognize the value of available data and identify new data sources. Collaborate with the Business Applications team to ensure application development generates valuable insights for the business.
  • Training & Support Adopt a customer-centric approach, providing training and support to end-users to maximize technology utilization. Work with the Data and Analytics team to troubleshoot and resolve analytics-related issues.
