About the Position

As a Learning Technology Strategist, you will play a key role in identifying user needs, advocating for optimal technology experiences, and developing strategies for effective implementation and training. You will collaborate with early adopters to refine technology practices, measure adoption, and drive continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute comprehensive user advocacy strategies to align with business goals and drive adoption
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance user experience and technology adoption across the firm
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices and integrate them into the firm's technology adoption strategies
  • Coordinate the implementation and optimization of a Learning Management System, ensuring effective ongoing utilization
  • Identify user needs and use cases for key groups through collaboration and ethnographic techniques, including identifying how they work, their preferred platforms, and work situations, and opportunities for improvement
  • Advocate for the best user experience for technology solutions based on identified needs
  • Provide input to develop strategies for implementing new solutions, including communication strategy, key messages, training strategy, and high-level curriculum
  • Collaborate with early adopters to establish successful ways to use technology and promote these practices within the firm
  • Measure adoption and satisfaction to support continuous improvement and advocate for a positive technology experience to other functional groups
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst and QA to review non-functional and functional requirements, ensuring human change aspects are well understood and documented
  • Participate in the design, development, and management of key communications related to technical changes, ensuring clear and consistent messaging
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs to prepare employees for technical changes
  • Identify and address resistance to technical changes, developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth transitions

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in user advocacy, training, or a related role, preferably within a law firm or similar professional environment
  • Experience with ethnographic or observational research techniques to understand user needs and behaviors
  • Experience facilitating focus groups, interviews, and surveys
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs and communication strategies
  • Proficiency in using technology platforms and tools relevant to the legal industry
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure adoption and satisfaction
  • Effective communication and people skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a user-centric mindset
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
