Job Title: Educational Assistant - Victoria

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Regent Christian Online Academy in Victoria. As an EA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs in our inclusive classrooms.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the classroom teacher with a variety of tasks, including taking attendance, preparing learning materials, and directing small groups. In addition, you will help students with therapy follow-up, engage them in home learning activities and virtual programming, and collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher with instructional tasks and support students with diverse learning needs
  • Help students with therapy follow-up and engage them in home learning activities and virtual programming
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience and/or EA certification is highly valued for this role
  • Strong interest, related experience, or relevant training in supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Empathetic nature and ability to work with students with varying abilities
  • Flexibility, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm
  • First Aid with CPR Level C certification
Remuneration:

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $28.90
