About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Data Specialist to join our team at GTT, LLC. As an IT Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Develop and implement robust data models and perform in-depth analysis using SQL and other relevant tools.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing effective data quality measures and governance frameworks.
  • BI and Reporting: Create comprehensive BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • ETL and Data Integration: Design and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Metadata Management: Maintain and enrich metadata to improve data discoverability and understanding.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CRISC or CISSP certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the financial industry or a regulated environment.
  • Programming: Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R.
