Key Responsibilities:- Conduct requirements elicitation and produce formal documents outlining the scope, objectives, and responsibilities of risk management programs.
- Establish processes and policies for managing risks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement IT risk management programs, including risk assessment methodologies and frameworks such as ISO 27001, FAIR, NIST, or COBIT.
- Communicate risk management strategies to stakeholders and educate staff about IT risks and best practices.
- Monitor, audit, and review IT risk management practices to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Five years of experience as a senior business analyst working in IT with a focus on IT risk management programs.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association, such as PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP.
- Experience working in or for the public sector in Canada.
