Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Drive the development and oversight of a dynamic pipeline of innovative products and emerging capabilities that support the strategic goals of the organization. Oversee the progression of innovation products within the AI and Emerging Technology framework from concept to pilot execution. Establish and communicate a clear vision and strategy for each innovation product. Conduct thorough market research, competitive assessments, and customer interviews to pinpoint opportunities and validate product ideas. Analyze the business value of each product and capability, assessing the desirability, feasibility, and viability of proposed solutions. Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, business value, designs, and progress to stakeholders, including executives and technical teams. Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire innovation lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, launch, and post-launch evaluation. Ensure that innovation initiatives meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Utilize design thinking methodologies to guarantee user-centered products that deliver targeted business value. Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather insights and foster innovation. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for innovation initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison for all innovation initiatives. Collaborate with marketing, communications, customer insights, and support teams to ensure successful pilot launches and testing. Define and monitor key performance metrics to assess the success and impact of innovation efforts. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the cross-functional innovation team and the broader organization. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation. Document lessons learned from product initiatives to inform future projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related STEM field. Advanced degrees or certifications in product management, design, or innovation are highly preferred. At least 5 years of experience in product management, focusing on emerging technology and innovation. Proven experience in successfully leading projects from inception to completion, including proofs of concept, prototypes, and pilot programs. Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as design thinking and agile development practices. Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams. Strong project planning, execution, and monitoring skills. Ability to manage multiple products and projects concurrently while effectively prioritizing tasks. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Passion for innovation and emerging technologies. High ethical standards and integrity in managing innovation initiatives and stakeholder relationships.
