We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsman Designer to join our team at ANDRITZ BONETTI CANADA inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing equipment drawings and collaborating with our team to develop projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and material lists for approval and fabrication.
- Develop mechanical concepts, including protocol, calculation, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Establish material lists for equipment fabrication and perform simple design calculations under the supervision of an engineer.
- Conduct dimensional surveys of existing equipment at customer sites on an occasional basis.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- College diploma in a mechanical or drafting discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software and ERP experience is an asset.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
