About the Role

KingswaySoft Inc is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software releases by designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases for KingswaySoft products that interact with various database systems and enterprise applications.
  • Create and develop test strategies and plans.
  • Contribute to software designs by solving intricate integration challenges.
  • Provide guidance to developers to ensure a streamlined design flow and user experience.
  • Ensure software issues are tracked and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Contribute to the development of technical resources such as documentation, knowledge base articles, and blog posts.
  • Develop sample solutions that demonstrate software features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software QA experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience with web service and API testing, including SOAP and/or REST service endpoints.
  • Working knowledge of XML and JSON data.
  • Ability to spot problems easily and reproduce them.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-oriented thinking and a preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies.
