PerkinElmer is a global leader in scientific solutions, providing innovative products and services to customers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Woodbridge, Canada.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic systems for our products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, with experience in mixed signal design, high voltage power supply design, and PCB manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems for new and existing products
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Provide technical insight to minimize risk and maximize opportunity
  • Recognize potential new products and work with internal staff, customers, and partners to influence their technical and business impact
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
  • Minimum of 5+ years of recent design engineering experience in a high technology environment
  • Mixed signal design experience is mandatory
  • High voltage power supply design experience is a strong asset
  • Ability to use advanced simulation and analysis tools in problem solving
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes to develop cost-effective and reliable designs
