Fruit and Vegetable Processing Machine Operator

Pride Pak Canada is seeking a skilled Fruit and Vegetable Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced fruit and vegetable processing plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery: Safely and efficiently operate processing and packaging machines to produce high-quality fruit and vegetable products.
- Perform machine adjustments: Perform routine maintenance and make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Record production information: Accurately record production data, including yields, quality control, and equipment performance.
- Clean and maintain equipment: Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Monitor product quality: Regularly inspect products for defects and ensure they meet company standards.
- Communicate with supervisors: Inform supervisors of any mechanical issues or product irregularities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
- Work environment: Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment.
- Work setting: Experience working in a fruit and vegetable processing plant.
- Physical demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
