Position Overview

Graymont Limited is a prominent producer of lime and limestone in North America, with a well-established facility committed to community and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Potentially operate heavy machinery including trucks, loaders, skid steers, and forklifts.
  • Engage in manual bagging and perform repetitive heavy lifting of bags onto pallets.
  • Assist with various manual tasks around the facility, including housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Work in diverse environments, accommodating weather changes and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment will be provided).

Required Qualifications:

  • Class 1 Driver's License is highly advantageous.
  • Possession of a trade qualification is a significant asset.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Minimum educational requirement is Grade 12.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working shifts.
  • Self-motivated with strong goal orientation and communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of problem-solving.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing conditions and strategies.
  • Mechanical experience is beneficial; must be able to pass an aptitude assessment.
  • Previous experience in industrial settings is preferred.
