Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Lead to join our team at The Scalers Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our Java-based applications.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Effective Communication: Develop and maintain clear and concise communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Java programming languages, Spring Framework, and relevant libraries.
  3. Architecture and Design: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient architectures for our applications.
  4. Code Quality: Write high-quality, testable, and readable code that meets our standards.
  5. Adaptability: Stay up-to-date with new technologies, protocols, and libraries, and adapt our applications accordingly.
  6. Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior developers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  7. Project Delivery: Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet our quality standards.
Essential Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Strong Java Skills: Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, Maven, and relational databases.
  2. Experience with Version Control: Familiarity with source code repository GitHub.
  3. API Development: Experience in developing REST APIs using Spring-MVC and Play Framework.
  4. NoSQL Databases: Knowledge of NoSQL databases, including Neo4J, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.
  5. CI/CD Pipeline: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
