Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at Promax Concrete Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and help with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work under tight deadlines. As a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will be working in a team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
