Neonatologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Medicine and the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is a dynamic and interdisciplinary team that provides clinical care in the 40-bed combined Level II/III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the IWK Health Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the NICU
  • Collaborate with Obstetrical and Maternal-Fetal Medicine services, pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, and diagnostic imaging and laboratory resources
  • Pursue an academic career within a stable funding environment
  • Contribute to research projects and educational initiatives
Requirements

Eligible candidates must have:

  • A MD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university
  • Completed recognized specialty training and certification in Pediatrics and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of Nova Scotia
