Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
    • Prepare and post journal entries
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Prepare tax returns and other financial reports
  • Financial Analysis
    • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
    • Prepare trial balance of books
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
