Job Summary:

The Erb Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Truck Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our refrigerated transportation fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain all company-owned trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computer systems and vehicle reports
  • Perform road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and operational
  • Document repairs and complete inspections sheets as required
  • Ensure all parts are properly marked and inventoried
  • Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on equipment availability and maintenance schedules
  • Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment
  • Follow shop procedures and company policies related to Occupational Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Certified Class 310T Mechanic license
  • Valid Class G driver's license
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with computers to update and log work orders
