We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team at Simplex Legal LLP. As a Senior Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on data protection and privacy matters to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on data protection and privacy matters to clients, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement data protection and privacy policies and procedures for clients.
- Conduct data protection and privacy audits and risk assessments for clients.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on data protection and privacy best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection and privacy laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
- Admitted and in good standing with a Law Society in Canada.
- 5+ years of experience in data protection and privacy law.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and international data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Remote work environment.

- Reimbursement for law society and professional liability fees.
