We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative Bitmoji experiences. Your role will involve:
- Driving quality assurance initiatives for both internal and external product launches.
- Formulating testing strategies for both existing and upcoming features.
- Establishing, executing, and maintaining automated testing processes that enhance the usability, performance, hardware compatibility, and software interoperability of our applications.
In this position, you will:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis for defects or incidents, documenting your insights and collaborating across teams to resolve issues.
- Work closely with Product Design, Program Management, Feature Developers, and fellow Quality Assurance team members to define requirements, ensure testability, and deliver high-quality features.
- Engage with partner teams to understand dependencies and facilitate the development of integration and end-to-end tests.
- Provide technical assistance to internal team members.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C.
- Experience with client and mobile test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and project tracking tools.
- Knowledge of software development and debugging tools.
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail.
- Understanding of quality-focused agile methodologies and their application throughout the software development lifecycle.
- A degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Approximately 1+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or development, emphasizing automated testing for client and mobile applications.
- Strong foundational skills in Object-Oriented Programming.
Additionally, experience with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud is advantageous.
