Position Overview

Join our team at Bonita as a Licensed Massage Therapist. We are dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services in a serene environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a College or CEGEP program in massage therapy.
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
Language Skills
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish (Castilian) is preferred.
Work Environment

This role is set in a beauty shop or aesthetic service establishment, where client comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Clearly explain procedures, potential risks, and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments administered.
  • Perform massages and knead muscles and soft tissues effectively.
  • Provide clients with advice regarding treatments performed and future needs.
  • Deliver relaxation massages tailored to individual client preferences.
  • Offer general information to clients and the public regarding services.
  • Manage and update knowledge of massage techniques and practices.
Certifications

Must hold certification from a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with electronic scheduling systems is required.
