Job Title: 310T / 310J License Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled 310T / 310J License Mechanic to join our team at The Erb Group of Companies. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain all Erb Group trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Understand vehicle reports and use computer systems to enter work orders
  • Road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational
  • Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required
  • Ensure all parts are marked in on a daily basis
  • Safety check all equipment to prevent accidents
  • Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment
  • Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment
  • Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's Class G license
  • Previous experience working on trailer and reefer mechanic
  • Ozone depletion card is required
  • Aptitude for transport refrigeration maintenance and engine repair would be preferred
  • Have own tools
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude
