Job Summary

Gora Jaimal Wala Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Maintenance: Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain a driver logbook and ensure all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other drivers and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Equipment: Utilize steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment for the job.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
