Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to oversee our transportation operations at 8820074 Canada Inc.. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our fleet while managing a team of drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze production and operational reports to enhance workflow.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement strategies to optimize work methods and enhance productivity.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve operational challenges, providing technical guidance to team members.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of drivers and support staff, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Activity Coordination: Schedule and manage daily operations and maintenance of vehicles.
Team Management

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-10 individuals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook is required to manage reports and communications effectively.

Industry Experience

Prior experience in the trucking industry is considered an asset.

Safety and Compliance

All candidates must undergo a criminal record check to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
