Production Worker Job Description

Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer of electrical insulation products, primarily used for cooling oil-cooled transformers. We are seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team in London, ON.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery
  • Ensure parts are built to blueprint specifications
  • Conduct quality checks using tape measures and calipers
  • Assist in making parts for customers using table saws, drill presses, and hand tools
  • Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a woodworking environment
  • Ability to work in a team setting and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Great attendance is a critical requirement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
  • Basic math skills – ability to measure and calculate
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job-specific requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
