Job Title: Landscape Technician

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at HML Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and maintenance.
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action for landscaping and maintenance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting with treatment solutions to maintain the health and appearance of plants and lawns.
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.
  • Plant and move trees, taking care to ensure their safe and successful transplantation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
