Campus Auto Collision and Heavy Equipment Refinishing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team. As an Automotive Body Painter, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by applying paint and coatings.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace.
- Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish for painting.
- Paint Application: Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using a variety of techniques and materials to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Color Matching: Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a precise match for the vehicle's original finish.
- Masking and Taping: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a clean and precise application.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail required to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
