Position Overview

As a Client Financial Services Specialist, you will collaborate closely with financial advisors to deliver tailored support to our members and clients. Your role is pivotal in assisting advisors in providing exceptional services and nurturing business relationships. You will be empowered to address the immediate needs of members and clients by offering efficient and straightforward solutions in investment, financing, and protection, all aligned with strategic action plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client inquiries, conducting necessary research and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Assist colleagues in organizing their schedules and correspondence.
  • Stay attuned to the needs of members and clients, recommending solutions that align with their expectations.
  • Guide members and clients in selecting and maximizing their tools and channels based on their desired level of independence and automation.
  • Identify business opportunities and engage in initiatives to drive sales growth.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an Attestation of Collegial Studies.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Possession of a Mutual Fund Representative Certificate from the Autorité des marchés financiers.
  • Proficiency in French is essential.
  • Familiarity with financial documentation utilized in asset management.
  • Knowledge of products and services available to caisse members and those offered by Desjardins business centers and competitors.
  • Understanding of the integration of financial data into systems.
  • Awareness of compliance regulations under the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services.
  • Insight into the principles and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives.
  • Knowledge of operational procedures related to investment and financing activities.
  • Familiarity with procedures regarding convenience products and services, as well as automated and assisted transactions.
  • Understanding of account opening processes and the sale of additional products and services.
  • Knowledge of Desjardins business processes, including sales, solicitation, and negotiation.
  • Awareness of service standards within the organization.
