Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Scarborough, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a heavy duty truck maintenance or repair environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of hire
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
