About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Programs Director to join our team at Save A Family Plan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering the programs of non-governmental organizations involved with social issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Develop and implement effective programs to address social issues, working closely with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Management: Direct and advise professional and non-professional staff, ensuring the highest level of performance and productivity.
  • Policy Development: Participate in policy development by preparing reports and briefs for management committees and working groups, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
  • Budget Management: Plan, administer, and control budgets for projects, programs, support services, and equipment, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Representation: Represent Save A Family Plan in government liaison and media relations, promoting our mission and values to the community.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in community programs, social services, or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Air-conditioned office space.
  • Work Setting: Community and social services.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $0 - $100,000.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
