Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Sonatus, Inc. is a leading provider of software-defined vehicle solutions. We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement complex in-vehicle software systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, embedded systems, and automotive electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly efficient and reliable in-vehicle software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
  • Analyze and enhance system resource usage for improved efficiency and scalability
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Work with the Technical Project Management team to ensure development schedules align with project schedules
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, embedded systems, and automotive electronics
  • Proficiency in C++ and experience with embedded operating systems
  • Experience with network security and monitoring tools
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills
  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • Familiarity with Unified Diagnostics Services over CAN or Ethernet
  • Good understanding of hardware devices such as MCU, CPU, Network Switch, etc.
  • Experience with network security and monitoring tools
