About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular therapeutic interventions to patients, focusing on physical, cognitive, communication, swallowing, and functional skills.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Engage patients in activities that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based interventions.
