Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Meat Department Associate to join our team at our Station Square Food Store in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. As a Meat Department Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and ensuring that our products are fresh and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and friendly service to customers in the meat department
- Wrap, label, and package prepared meats
- Ensure proper rotation of fresh and full products at all times
- Facing, filling, and organizing of all product items
- Disassemble and assemble all machines in the department for thorough cleaning
- Wash cooler and prep room floors every day
- Clean and sanitize cutting blocks daily
- Monitor case temperature and clean equipment
- Other housecleaning duties
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience, meat department experience is an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Must be able to work with all types of meat and meat products
- You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
