Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Consistently exhibiting empathy and understanding in all interactions with clients and colleagues, taking the time to grasp their unique circumstances and concerns.
  • Effectively communicating to identify client needs, delivering tailored advice and solutions, and resolving client issues promptly.
  • Leveraging your advisory skills, along with the expertise of appropriate partners within the RBC network, to meet the full spectrum of client financial needs.
  • Offering professional insights and education on complex credit and investment matters, ensuring that the solutions provided align with client needs and financial situations.
  • Promoting digital engagement by educating clients on self-service options while prioritizing personalized advice and facilitating interactions through their preferred channels.
  • Utilizing technology to connect with clients in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Implementing effective strategies for building and maintaining relationships that enhance client acquisition and retention within your community.
  • Collaborating with top-tier professionals in financial planning, retirement solutions, mortgages, and business banking to deliver customized and relevant expert advice.

Qualifications for Success:

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Completion of the Certificate of Achievement in Personal Finance through the Canadian Securities Institute.
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated sales experience in the financial services sector, focusing on credit and investment management.
  • Proven ability to establish trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in digital tools across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential, as you will serve clients with diverse language needs.
